It's refreshing to find yourself taking portraits that are faceless and yet express so much. This was taken in my living room. I love how the darkness obscures any facial movement and brings his posture to the forefront of the portrait. It speaks against the recent debates on the forceful unveiling of Muslim women in France. What more could the 'face' add to this frame? Is it really pivotal function for human relation? Doesn't his posture say enough?
